About me
My work is grounded in a trauma-informed and culturally sensitive approach shaped by both professional training and lived experience. I hold an Associate Degree in Psychology and completed my professional counselling education in Vancouver, where I received 1,725 hours of intensive therapeutic training, followed by a year-long, 240-hour Compassionate Inquiry program with Dr. Gabor Maté.
For over a decade, I have supported individuals navigating anxiety, trauma, addiction, relationship challenges, family stress, and emotional overwhelm.
My intention is to offer a calm, supportive space where you can slow down, explore your inner world, and reconnect with your strengths. As an immigrant, a mother, and someone who has faced adversity firsthand, I carry a deep respect for human resilience. These experiences shape my belief that healing is nurtured through connection, honesty, and compassionate self-reflection.
I continue to expand my skills through ongoing education in trauma work, somatics, attachment, and other therapeutic approaches. My goal is to offer the highest quality support possible, so my clients receive care that reflects the most effective methods available.

What type of therapy do you offer?
I offer individual therapy that blends evidence-based approaches with compassionate, client-centred support. This includes work with trauma, anxiety, addiction, depression, relationship challenges, and personal growth. Sessions can be held virtually or outdoors in nature through “Walk and Talk Therapy,” which combines movement with conversation to create a grounding and supportive environment. I also offer guidance for parenting, family dynamics, and life coaching when relevant.
Sessions & Logistics
How long is a typical session?
50 minutes.
How often should I come to therapy?
The frequency depends on your goals and needs. Many clients start with weekly sessions, then adjust as progress is made. We’ll collaborate to find a pace that works best for you.
What happens during the first session?
During the first session, we’ll focus on getting to know you and your situation. We’ll discuss your current challenges, goals, and what you hope to achieve through therapy. This is also a chance for you to ask questions, learn about my approach, and together we’ll create a personalized plan for your therapy journey. It’s a safe, non-judgmental space to begin exploring your thoughts, feelings, and patterns.
Can I switch between online and outdoor sessions?
Of course, anytime.
What is your cancellation policy?
If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice. This allows me to offer the time to another client. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice or missed appointments may be subject to a full session fee, except in cases of emergency or illness. Thank you for your understanding and consideration.
